FreeCommander - renaming multiple files
Freecommander is a GUI version of the popular Midnight Commander file manager. It comes with two panes and file management is as simple as clicking a copy or move button. It is less prone to some of the problems that the Windows File explorer has, such as context menus disapearing before one can click on one of the menu items. The only minus point is that the devolper has no British Interface.

Version 115 now comes with an ugly search bar at the top of the window with no way to remove it. I don't like this so will only install the latest versions on one machine so that I can take screenshots from it. I only intend using the newer versions if that is removed at a future date.
